Judges can appoint attorneys who will represent them before the California Supreme Court.If California is going to create a third branch of government, it is a good bet that it will not allow judicial appeals from federal courts. It might allow the President to appoint judges from outside California, but that probably won't happen. This is because the people in California love federalism, but they hate the idea of a three-branch federal judiciary.Whether or n ot one agrees with the foreign policy decisions made by the California Supreme Court, the fact remains that it is a precedent that goes a long way toward cementing California as the most liberal state in the nation. As a result, the California Bar Exam will be all over the map in terms of gender, race, and nationality.
